I'm still eating my way out of all the leftovers from cooking, so today let's delve into my #1 kitchen item I can't live without:
Debbie Meyer Green Bags (about $10 bucks for 10 medium and 10 large)
I use these for spinach because I always get halfway through a bag and then it turns to slime. Ugh. I use them for half of a bell pepper, chopped romaine lettuce, cucumber, strawberries, you name it. They actually work! I can proudly say that I buy twice as much spinach and use ALL of it. :D
The best part is that these are SO easy to quickly wash out, dry and reuse.
I wasn't sure how these would work out, I'm skeptical about any "As Seen On TV" product, but I tried them out on a whim. And I haven't gone back.
Do you use Green Bags? What is your #1 kitchen item?
Oh...thanks for the reveiw! I have seen these but had no idea if they worked! Awesome!! I am totally with you on the spinach slime thing!! So nasty!
ReplyDeleteSo glad this was helpful! Yes, go get some and ban spinach slime forever! :)
ReplyDeleteI really need to get those for bananas. They are one of the only fruits I like to eat, ( i know that's sad) and they go bad before I can eat them all. If you want them in your weekly eats, you practically have to buy a new bunch once a week. I definitely give these bags a try. Thanks for the info!
ReplyDeleteI completely agree with bananas! I like them just barely not green, and as soon as they get those brown spots, no good. I sneak them into smoothies to not to waste them. You an also separate the bananas and they are supposed to ripen slower that way too. :) Thanks for stopping by!
